FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 1, 2009
Dear TALLYS Users,
We’d like to take this time to inform all of our TALLYS 4.0 users that Pelican Software is soliciting final feedback, suggestions and questions on improvements prior to version 5’s release in the 1st quarter of 2010.
In development for over a year, TALLYS 5.0 adds a long list of new features and enhancements to improve the user experience. It is currently in beta production at a few yards, as we continue to make the transition seamless for all TALLYS 4.0 customers.
We appreciate positive constructive feedback; please send all of your feedback, suggestions and questions to tallys@pelsoft.com. For inclusion into TALLYS 5.0 we ask that you send us this information before October 15th.
Suggested enhancements or improvements that enrich the program for all users are typically included by Pelican at no cost, if they are accepted. These can be anything as small as adding a new search query, or keyboard shortcut or button function to the program that may greatly increase your productivity.
Should your suggestion concern your specific business processes, or you simply wish to add more value for your clients, we are also soliciting any Custom Development at this time. Now is the best time to add more B2B functions for your customers, and have it included in TALLYS 5.0. Pelican Software has some of the lowest software development rates in the industry, and we are constantly working on custom projects for our Oil & Gas clients.
We also welcome Nathan Sugden to the TALLYS 5.0 development team. With over 3 years at Pelican, Nathan has extensive experience in our development environment. Our lead developer, Heather Holder, will be taking a maternity leave and working part time in 2010.
Our current development queue will be clear in November 2009, so now is the perfect time to plan an enhancement to appear in TALLYS 5.0. If you are interested in a quote for custom development, please contact Simon Smith or Craig Reimer at (800) 988-4880 for further information.
Regards,
Simon Smith
